GivingPlus
Thrivent
Financial offers a new gift-matching program to all
its members.
The program, called GivingPlus,
gives donors to Lutheran Social Services of the South
the opportunity to increase those gifts.
Here's
how GivingPlus works:
•
All Thrivent Financial
members, age 16 or older, are eligible to participate
in the GivingPlus
program.
•
Gifts of $50-$400
qualify for matching. For every $2 a member donates,
Thrivent
Financial will donate $1 based on program guidelines,
resulting
in Thrivent contributions of $25-$200 per gift.
•
Monetary gifts
of cash, check, money order, stock, and mutual fund
share transfers
are eligible for match.
•
Thrivent Financial
members who volunteer 25 or more hours to LSS may
increase
their gift up to an additional $100. Thrivent will
contribute 50 cents
for each $1 of the added giving.
•
There is a gifting
limit of two gifts per calendar year (must be given
to different
recipients).
•
If you are not
currently a member of Thrivent Financial, you can
become a
member by paying a $10 annual family membership fee
and your gifts of
up to $100 will be eligible to be matched.
